Chicken with basmati rice
Instructions:
Put the chicken with cold water in a saucepan with the onion flakes, carrots, celery, garlic and the thyme.
After boiling it all, take it out on a plate and strain the juice in another saucepan.
Add lemon and turmeric to the broth by tasting the salt and pepper and if desired add more.
Boil the broth with the rice and let it cook for 15 minutes.
Put the olive oil in a frying pan and stir, stirring the walnuts and the raisins to saute, stirring, adding the rice to get a aroma.
Chicken and rice served together.
