Greek Organic Beluga Lentils 300gr

With a special effort in the mountainous areas of Domokos, the Greek nature generously offers valuable black lentils in very limited quantities.

Black lentils are high in protein and fiber, and only half a cup of cooked black lentils contain about 12 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber, a powerful combination that can keep us full of energy for much longer than other foods.

Black lentils are extremely tasty, characterized as lentil caviar and one feature is that they are easier to digest than traditional lentils.

They do not need soaking from the night. Wash them and put them in double volume of salt-free water to boil on low heat for 20-30 minutes depending on how we like them. Take them out, pour oil and salt and eat.

Greek black lentils are very tasty and in order to take off the flavor we can throw small pieces of tomato, parsley and olives or mix them with other salads like eg. a green salad. We can use them for decoration.
