Kounoukla or Cistus is a unique aromatic herb belonging to the cystidae family. It thrives in the Mediterranean in general and especially in Crete in areas with increased humidity.
The Cistus is the most miraculous herb with the most therapeutic, medicinal and cosmetic properties. It is a healthy herb that in the form of a beverage offers the body its beneficial benefits, uses the green leaves of Cistus as it focuses on its beneficial effects.
It relieves stomach, intestinal problems and acts against obesity. It is soothing, astringent, spasmolytic, anti-insomnia, reduces the symptoms of bronchitis, and is analgesic. It is advisable to use preventive measures to prevent colds and other diseases.
Kounoukla also has excellent performance in skin diseases, itching, allergies, irritated skin, hemorrhoids. Treats cuts, sores and acne, slows aging, stimulates and aids cracked skin as well as tightens skin pores. Cistus also soothes irritated skin with neurodermatitis or acne. If one puts on the skin of Cistus tea twice a day for four weeks, it will achieve a significantly cleaner and healthier complexion even in acne and neurodermatitis skin.
Use diluted tea as a lotion on the skin with a cotton swab twice a day and allow it to dry. This skin treatment should last 4 to 6 weeks.
