Ο ευκάλυπτος είναι ένα καταπληκτικό βότανο . Φαρμακευτικές ιδιότητες έχουν μόνο τα φύλλα που αναπτύσσονται πάνω σε παλιά κλαδιά και είναι δρεπανοειδή, εναλλασσόμενα, έμμισχα και έχουν ευχάριστη γεύση. Ο ευκάλυπτος είναι ένα από τα ψηλότερα δένδρα της Ελλάδας
Ο ευκάλυπτος έχει αντισηπτικές ιδιότητες, ενώ είναι δροσιστικό και αντιπυρετικό για το δέρμα. Επίσης, είναι αποτελεσματικό στην καταπολέμηση των σπυριών, των ψειρών, των εγκαυμάτων, μετριάζει τη δύσπνοια και αντιμετωπίζει τα κρυολογήματα και τη γρίπη. Τα φύλλα του είναι διεγερτικά και αποχρεμπτικά και βοηθούν στη μείωση των επιπέδων του σακχάρου στο αίμα. Ανακουφίζει από τους πόνους στους μυς και τις αρθρώσεις και συστήνεται σε περιπτώσεις ρευματισμών και αρθριτικών. Eucalyptus has antiseptic properties while being refreshing and antipyretic for the skin. It is also effective in fighting pimples, lice, burns, relieves shortness of breath and treats colds and flu. Its leaves are stimulating and expectorant and help to lower blood sugar levels. It relieves muscle and joint pain and is recommended in cases of rheumatism and arthritis. It also stimulates blood circulation. Finally, it is used against diabetes and intestinal parasites.
Tip: If your cold is bothering, throw eucalyptus leaves in boiling water to let the steam fill the room or inhale with your head above the pot (after lowering it from the fire) covered with a towel. Also, boil faster. the leaves and inhale over the pot for pulmonary diseases, colds and the common.
Eucalyptus is used commercially for the perfume of soaps and cosmetics. You can also use it for homemade insect repellents.

All products purchased from the e-shop HouseOfDeli.gr can be returned for replacement with products of equal or greater value as long as the packaging has not been altered or opened.
