Rosemary known in Greece and as arismar, while in Cyprus it is known as lasmarium, is a very popular Greek aromatic herb that we use traditionally in our food.It is expectorant and helps cough in bronchitis and flu by drinking it as a decoction. We find that rosemary, in addition to a basic herb of Greek cuisine, is also a miracle herb.
A well-known plant in antiquity when the Ancient Greeks used it in various religious ceremonies and celebrations, in adornments of buildings, temples and as a fuel for incense. It contains tannin and essential oil, which is extracted by distillation mainly from the tops of flowering shoots.
